Teaching Online

Contrary to what many people think, teaching online is more demanding than teaching face-to-face. Online teachers need to have a skill-set beyond those skills required in the classroom. Some of these skills include Web page design, e-mail management and the use of Internet tools. It is estimated that an online teacher spends up to one and one half times more hours "in class" than their face-to-face counterparts. To find out if this is for you, click here, Is Online Teaching Right for Me? and learn more about being an online teacher.

Application Process
If you are interested in a teaching position with the Colorado Online Learning, download and fill out the Teacher Application. To submit your paperwork, follow the directions at the top of the Teaching Application.

COL will send you an e-mail noting the receipt of your application and will provide further information related to the application and selection process.
